I was curious how many of you, if any, are at all familiar with Graphic Poodles in San Rafael CA (Florence Graham). As some of you may know, my family and I have owned two silver standard graphic poodles, both of which have now passed on. I know that Graphic has generally had an excellent "name"... Clearing refers to when a black poodle inherits whatever gene/s-causes-it and becomes blue or silver. It's also when a brown poodle inherits whatever gene/s-causes-it is and becomes cafe au lait or silver beige. Clearing is a "gain" of a different color.
(ok, sure, by losing pigmentation but) The silvers of either start clearing usually by 6 weeks.
