Spanking done correctly isn't abuse. Almost every person on this thread that was anti spanking and was spanked was spanked incorrectly. For those that were spanked correctly they didn't take issue with spanking once in a while. It's my opinion in general people get far too involved in what goes on in others homes. I agree that spanking doesn't relate to the unfinished schoolwork, but I consider the issue NOT to be the work but a rebellious attitude. And I feel that spanking is a very acceptable punishment for that.
